Lost Seasons.

Dismal days darken the mind,
black, browns and greys leak onto our skins.
Melancholy at the harsh bleak winter.
Skeletal trees exposed to stark conditions,
stripped of it's salubrious frond.
The frost creeps,
paralysing all it conceals.
Forgotten are the days of bloom and blossom,
of new life and grand assortments of colour.
Thick fogs of warm beauteous aroma
suffusing the summer air.
Nothing is left but the winter.
The earth is cleansed and purified
by it's glacial elements
to make way for the rebirth.
Those days will return.
Minds will once again remember.
Remember the days of bloom and blossom,
of new life and grand assortments of colour.
