Abandoned dreams.

Making the most of the clear skies, today was spent exploring with my boyfriend and his friend. We went from a war memorial to a beach (kinda) to a country park.
We were eager to visit an abandoned girls school near by but our friend wasn't as keen so we plan to save that for another day. We were so enthusiastic about having a great day, around lunchtime we struggled with thinking up ideas of where to go next, which was typical.
I wore a simple summer dress, ballet pumps and a cable knit cardigan just incase it got chilly, I didn't need it however because the weather was just so splendid. We dined on scampi and chips in a pub by the beach, semi-mud larked finding washed up pottery and skimmed stones.
Curiously I questioned the reasons behind people leaving things to rot and waste away. We came across a few deserted boats today, rusting and worn. Don't get me wrong I believe that beauty can be found in decay but I just don't understand why people could possibly forget or why you would want to?
For example, the deserted girls school we wanted to visit. It is such a magnificent building structurally, with grand stairways and a beautiful glassed greenhouse conservatory, it makes me think why would you want to let it be left there alone. I'd want to make the most from it, turn it into a house, it would be such a wonderful place to live.
The beach we visited wasn't the kind you would ever contemplate sunbathing on but was perfect to stroll down, contemplating life and such things.
It was such a glorious day, despite only appearing in one photo here, showcasing my outfit, I was very intent on showing you all some of my photos from the day.

    1. Hi Rachel,

I jump between two but they are only digital cameras. I am saving for a DSLR to get stronger quality images but right now I just use normal digital cameras and just do a little editing on Photoshop. Thank you so much Rachel, I will take a look :)
