Satis house.

So I mentioned this morning about getting a chance to get a photo of my whole outfit and found a satisfactory spot whilst out today, Restoration House in Rochester, which is the home to Miss Havisham in Dickens' Great Expectations; Satis House as it is known in the book.
Walking around in this ensemble with my baby face I am pretty sure people were questioning why I wasn't at school. I mean, the other week the woman wouldn't budge when I went to purchase a lottery ticket and wanted ID from me to prove I was 16 +, even after I insisted I had been legal for such an item for over 6 years.

  7. Love the bag! I need to own a pair of shoes that are as comfy as yours look. Ooh, i'd love to visit the setting of a book, if only i knew where to find Narnia...

    1. Thank you Mollie, the shoes are from ASOS. They are a pair of those slipper shoes in a dark green velvet and they are super comfortable! I also secretly feel like I need a silk robe on and to spend my time hidden away in a library.
I love visiting places from books or are related in someway to writers .etc. The area I live in was Dickens favourite so it has his house here that he dreamed of living in when he was little and then bought it when he was much older and returned to the area. There are a lot of places that appear in his book too spotted everywhere, it's wonderful!

I thin you should check out your wardrobe to see if Narnia is nestled behind some fur coats. I loved those books as a child but I wouldn't be brave enough to enter in to the place if I found it in my wardrobe!
