I still haven't sorted the camera out and given it a boost of power so it lasts long enough to capture some images in some pleasant places and thus, I have been relying on Iphone's and Instagram. Unfortunately, I am not the shape of a square so always find my feet are missing in the shots.
I went out last night with my friends and discovered I don't know how to dance to House music and struggle to know when one song has finished and a new one has started. I went out to dance but who knew I would come back having learnt about finding the 'drop' and how to bop. I thought you bopped if you were in the Fifties at your high school dance.
I wore my Zara patent bow heels (which I enjoy pretending are Vuitton's) with my bright orange Zara shift dress. The shift dress is extra delightful because the sleeves/top area come in to the centre, away from the shoulders so it is really quite flattering. It also has pockets which I always find a bonus.
I wore my Brighton Rock lipstick from Topshop which I think superbly compliments the orange and headed out into the dark.
I really need to invest in some contact lenses, I choose to keep my glasses off and hidden in the depths of my bag when I go out of an evening but with this sacrifice, I lose my vision and have to feel my way around the night. People think I am rude and giving them the evil eye but in fact, I am only trying to see who they are.
Too bad I wasn't drinking, I always feel my vision minus glasses, gets sharper after a few.
In other news, I caught up with Mad Men and momentarily found Zou Bisou stuck in my head. Grr, am I the only one who despises Don and Megan's relationship? When the episode finished I took a long breath and slowly, the realisation of a series of stress, frustration and shouting at the television weighted itself on my shoulders. What can I say, it's one of my favourite shows, it's probably what makes me get so emotionally attached.
I hope everybody is having a lovely weekend with what ever you have planned. Tomorrow, I think the plan is a spot of tennis. Sport, my favourite (please apply sarcastic tone). I can't even win at swingball starting second from the top and I only need one swing to get there. I would only play it as a child so I could take a towel and banana into the garden and pretend I was a professional.
very sweet shoes :)
