Belle of the ball.

The Parisian's are so effortlessly elegant, I stumbled across this photograph taken by Scott Schuman in Paris and it stole my heart. Black and white paired together I find quite a French concept and I blame this on Chanel, it always has been quite a signature combination for the fashion house. This lady's outfit is so gentle & feminine with it's large bow, delicate lace and satin shoes. The stripes add a subtle nautical touch to the ensemble.
I adore her short haircut which is tidily tucked behind her ears with it's natural flick making it appear not too overly styled. Her make-up is fresh and the whole outfit is very organic. She is such an elegant lady without looking too refined and as if she has spent all morning deciding what to slip on. Instead, looking as if she has just picked the first item she found draped over her folding screen without a second thought whilst still being able to remain so graceful and charming.
Effortlessly chic this woman is very endearing and I truly admire her look.
