In Cold Bones

The bitter bite of winter is upon us, already resident in shops selling cards and large tins of Roses.

I am left pining for thick knits, chunky boots and shadowy hues to conceal my quivering, gelid bones behind. 

Layers of leather, fuzzy knitted wool & fur is what the frosty months call upon married with gentle feminine silks and frost nipped cheeks to soften the tough, dark hues that vacate our wardrobes and drape from our shivering bones during this annual unwelcome spell of bleak weather.
